11 OCTOBER : RUTHIE DAVIS SHOWROOM Ruthie Davis selected ABYULighting to design custom fixtures for her new Chelsea show room. Installed just in time for the fall fashion season, these fixtures make their debut alongside Ruthie's A-list kicks. The white-box gallery space was perfect for showcasing her new designs to buyers and celebrity clients, but it needed something special to give flavor to the austere space. The result is a pair of customized ABYU pieces, based on the Cumulus design (featured last month in Barneys New York Window) and the new short Twister Table lamp (recently featured on FAB.COM). Ruthie also wanted to make sure everyone knows she is serious about shoes so the sexy stiletto silhouettes were a "must have" design detail. Keep your eyes out for these fixtures, because with Ruthie's high-fashion, high-profile edge at work, they are bound to end up on TV. view fixture |
